This is so true because Imo State enjoys several key selling points which place it uniquely in a position for such vibrancy. First Owerri the state capital is a gateway to, and hub of several states. It straddles the junction of Anambra State to the North, Abia State to the east, Rivers and Delta State south and west and a direct link to several other states. Most of the nearest towns have very strong economic activities and are the farthest, one hour drive by roads which are very motorable and currently undergoing expansion to meet with today’s traffic challenge.

Development of decent and affordable housing for all income groups in all localities including rural areas and formulate a lasting housing and urban development policy in the state.

Key Issues & Challenges

To develop a modern time-efficient technology in the housing that is cheap, easily transferable and affordable. Also to acquire enough land-banks with the current legal framework for acquisition of land for future development.
